Normanhurst Boys High School prides itself on the management of the school. A list of policies associated with the running of the school are as follows;

Policy	Description
Bullying	Policy surrounding Bullying and avenues that can be taken by Students/Parents to both prevent bullying and steps that can be taken if it is occurring.
Discipline	Policy detailing the Expectations of Good Discipline in NSW Schools, the School Discipline Policy, Code of Behaviour and Specific Rules and Penalties.
Disciplinary Procedure Levels	Policy defining the Levels System, and Disciplinary Procedures.
Gifted and Talented	Policy surrounding the strategies used at NBHS to Extend and Enrich Gifted and Talented students.
Homework	Policy encompassing the Objectives of Homework, Student Responsibilities, Teachers' Responsibilities and Parents' Responsibilities.
HSC Assessment Booklet	Provides details surrounding the Higher School Certificate assessments, for Year 11 (2008) and Year 12 (2009). Contains Assessment Cover Sheet, Explaination of Absence Form and Medical Certificate/Illness and Misadventure Template.
Merit	Provides details on the Merit System, How the system works, Areas of Achievement and Criteria for Medals
Sports	Policy surrounding Sports within the school, including Grade sport and House sport.
SRC/Leadership	Details around the Student Representative Council.
Uniform	Provides details about uniform and mandatory dress codes.
